Faith Place

Creating joy every day in a special place for special people. Employees and volunteers who surround the residents at Faith Place Memory Care seek to know each person’s story and interests in order to make each day meaningful.

Along with regular and consistent training, the staff uses the specially designed layout to offer structure, opportunity and encouragement for individuals to appreciate each day. The layout includes a wide-open floor plan flooded with natural light which allows residents to freely move and interact in safety.

Most notably, we have completed a complete renovation of Faith Place, with a revamped kitchen, family room, beauty shop, and plenty of bright, cheerful colors!

Every day, residents have access to a fully-equipped kitchen to bake or cook with the assistance of a volunteer or activity staff. A large fenced-in garden provides smooth sidewalks to stroll among flower beds, raised beds to plant and harvest vegetables, and a covered veranda to visit and play games. Other centers of activity include living rooms, a computer center, craft areas and spaces to pursue individual hobbies.

All Faith Place programs have been developed in conjunction with the Southern Illinois University Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center and with the Rush Presbyterian Alzheimer Disease Center. We are a Primary Provider Site for Southern Illinois University Medical School.
